Kicker Rock & Beach

Leon Dormido, also known as Kicker Rock, is one of the most impressive natural icons of San Cristobal. This huge islet, formed by the eroded remains of an old volcanic cone, rises straight out of the ocean and is spectacular both above and below the water. Its tall vertical walls split the islet into two rocks with a narrow channel between them, ideal for snorkeling and diving. This natural passage shelters an amazing variety of marine life that is easy to see in its crystal-clear water.
