Enjoyable day at North Seymour, though felt somewhat overpriced

We booked the North Seymour day tour with this agency, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The boat was high-quality and comfortable, and the snorkeling gear provided was in good condition. A special mention goes to our guide, who was knowledgeable, engaging, and gave us a great overview of the island's wildlife.

However, a few drawbacks are worth noting. Given the price, the experience felt quite expensive for the actual content provided. The logistics take up a big part of the day (a 45-minute drive followed by a 45-minute boat ride). Once there, we spent around 1.5 hours walking on the island, followed by a snorkeling session right off the same spot without the boat having to move, and finally a quick stop at a nearby beach before heading back. The snorkeling felt notably rushed—likely to keep to a tight schedule—and could definitely have been longer.

That being said, it remains a solid and memorable experience overall, and I am not sure competitors offer much more for this specific itinerary. Good, but manage your expectations regarding the pace and price-to-activity ratio.

We booked all of our tours on San Cristóbal, Santa Cruz, and Isabela with Olmer. His prices are negotiable, and the service was excellent. Great highlands tour with a lovely English speaking guide. It was quick and to the point. Tortoises were awesome and I loved the lava tunnel + twin craters. Reasonable last minute pricing too.

The agency communicated well and is very helpful. Everything is organized adequately.

Unfortunately, we also booked a tour with them to Bartholomew island, but 30 mins into the boat one of the engines broke. We turned around and went home. They refunded us the same day and it is not their fault, and they could not find another boat since these tours are always sold out. I still give them 5 stars for their professionalism and help. This agency saved us while in Santa Cruz! We tried various other agencies for last minute Bahia tour and all were sold out. Olmer went above and beyond to find us 3 spots! He was so great!
