North Seymour Island
1 day
Located north of Baltra, North Seymour Island was formed by uplifted underwater lava and is covered with typical Galápagos vegetation. Its easy trail lets you explore one of the largest seabird colonies in the islands, including blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds and swallow-tailed gulls. It is also home to the yellow land iguana, an iconic Galápagos species, along with marine iguanas, sea lions and Sally Lightfoot crabs. Nearby Bachas Beach is the perfect place to snorkel and spot pink flamingos in their natural habitat.
