Kicker Rock Diving
1 day
Kicker Rock (León Dormido, the “Sleeping Lion”), named for its shape that resembles a sleeping sea lion, is one of the top dive sites in the archipelago. In its depths you can see salema fish, hammerhead sharks, Galápagos sharks, sea turtles, eagle rays, golden rays and sea lions. The outer wall reaches 60 meters deep, so good buoyancy control is important. Currents range from mild to moderate, and the second dive takes place in a spectacular channel between towering rock walls.
